What do 3 men and a Gorilla, have in common with Eric Carr and KISS?
Nick Clemente,will fill you in!
ERIC CARR GOES TO COLLEGE!
I am Jordi Ballera, a Spanish Public Relations professional who also gives lectures at some business schools and universities. In this picture you can see me giving a lecture titled "Kiss and Marketing: everything you can learn from a rock band". That lecture took place at the Istituto Europeo di Design, probably the best European school of design, which is funny since Eric Carr was a talented designer. More than 60 students attended the lecture in Madrid, Spain. The picture captures the moment when I was talking about Eric and his family. I underlined the fact that Eric always acted like an ordinary man. In spite of being a great star Eric never forgot where he came from and he was always proud of his roots. At the same time, I emphasized the fact that Eric was a real humble and honest man who worked hard to follow his dreams. The lecture was a big success and the attendees enjoyed learning lessons from both Kiss and its most beloved member: Eric Carr.

ACE FREHLEY
Anomaly Review
In memory of Eric Carr and DimebagPosted: September 3, 2009.....From: EddieTrunk.com
The air is crisp here in NJ and football season is near! Love this time of year. Love the Fall, love the weather, and love the Giants and the NFL. Outside of Christmas Labor Day weekend is my favorite for those reasons. Its also a great time for new music. Been listening to new Ace Frehley, Dream Theater, Heaven & Hell, UFO and more. Great new stuff out or coming out, so support new music from classic bands. They need it also.
Speaking of new music I have the final product with artwork of the entire new Ace Frehley album now. Ace showed me the cover art a couple months ago in my studio. Its cool to see it in the final product. The packaging is really cool. Its a cardboard sleeve that assembles into a pyramid. It also has a small Ace poster in it, credits and a cardboard oversleeve. In an total class move Ace dedicates the CD to the late Eric Carr and Dimebag Darrell. Dime was obviously a huge Ace fan and had his image tattooed on his chest. No doubt Dime would be floored by this
to say the least! As for Eric, it is just awesome that Ace kept him in his thoughts like this and kept his memory alive by listing his name right on the back of the CD. So many times people say they will keep someones memory alive after they pass and forget to do so. Ace did not forget and if you had the pleasure of knowing Eric you would know why. He was a special guy and I still think of him all the time. Even though Ace and Eric were only in Kiss together for a short time they really did bond. So much so that when I started working with Ace in the late 80's Eric would often come to rehersals and jam. He actually wanted to tour with Ace at one point just before he got sick but that would not fly with the Kiss camp. Eric was the best and its so cool of Ace to have done this.

Artical appearing on AOLRemember These Timeless '80s Bands?
I was driving down the highwaythe other day when I heard a blast from the past. It was TwistedSister's 'We're Not Gonna Take It.' Do you remember them? I loved the'80s! Mohawk haircuts, big hair, fingerless lace gloves, leg warmers,Rubik's Cube, Shrinky Dinks, Smurfs ... the list could go on forever.Iwondered if people were as nostalgic about the '80s as I am. I decidedto find out what the most popular '80s big-hair bands were on AOLSearch. To my surprise, I found out many people are still curious aboutthe '80s big-hair bands.KISS , who formed in the'70s, were classically known for their crazy face painting but decidedin the '80s to add some Aqua-net. Other bands such as Cinderella,Whitesnake and we can't forget Poison competed with them for thehighest teased hair dos.Speaking of Poison, lead singer Bret Michaelsnow has his own reality show called 'Rock of Love', where 25 womencompete to win a date with him. The hit show just ended season two andfans are wondering ... will there be a season three? Other '80s bandssuch as Aerosmith and Motley Crue have toned down their hair and arestill performing concerts for all their fans. Guns N' Roses isseemingly more famous these days for the album they won't release.
Do you have a favorite'80s big-hair band that did not show up on the list? If so, please tellus about them. Try searching for '80s big-hair bands on AOL Search orcheck out AOL Music for more 80s Bands. Also check out Spinner.com forband breakups or worst band photos.
